![]() All are wireless except one play 3 connected via Ethernet cable into my Connect. not the correct speaker wire or RCA to speaker wire connectors?įYI I’m on S2, and have several play 3 and play 5s running via my Sonos Boost inside my house. Or is it possible I have bad equipment, e.g. Literally have to put your ear up to the speakers to hear them on 100% Sonos Connect volume via the Sonos App.ĭo I need an amp, a Sonos Amp, or something else in this setup for the speakers to work? If so, can anyone recommend something inexpensive for me to purchase online? The problem I am having is barely any sound out of my speakers. I connected the Sonos Connect to my Sonos Boost via Ethernet cable, then bought a pair of male RCA to speaker wire adapters, connected them to 14 AWG (4 conductors) speaker wire and ran it out and connected my Bose speakers. I recommend these speakers to anyone who is buying a speaker system. My brother gave me his Sonos Connect (model S15) that he wasn’t using so I could connect my outdoor pair of Bose Free Space 51s. It is a bit pricey for my taste, however, for something that has such amazing quality, durability, and effectiveness, I will gladly pay the extra amount. The only slight knock I have on the Bose speakers is the price. ![]() In describing one of its great features, I already led into another great quality! It is very compact and takes up very little space, leaving a person with tons of other space for things to augment the speakers, such as stereos, computers, televisions, etc. Where do I begin with all of its fantastic qualities? Well, for starters, it produces a great amount of sound from such a compact set of speakers. This new speaker from Bose is no different. There is a reason for that, as Bose has constantly produced quality systems at reasonable prices. In terms of the peaker/stereo industry, Bose is a name that is first off of most people's tongues. I can't say enough about how much I love these speakers and their output!!! **We bought these SEVEN years ago** and they are still going strong!!! And while the price tag is high, it is WORTH EVERY PENNY, especially when it comes to a 10 year warranty (unheard of on electronics these days). Free 2-day shipping to Washington See details. We didn't have to take additional power or speaker wire through our yard as other options would have had us do. I bought 2 of them and placed them in just the right places in my yard to get 360-degree sound throughout my ENTIRE property. Other speaker systems just post up to the back of the house but for a large lot that isn't enough. Whether it was gardening in the back of my lot or hosting a party in the backyard (which is 3/4ths acre of grass) I couldn't get a consistent level or ended up with poor quality sound. I live on an acre of land and was always having trouble with playing music/sporting events when I was outdoors so that I could hear it throughout my property. True BEST Outdoor Sound - Bose FreeSpace!!! its worth the money and i think you should invest in it. though im not a big fan of spending to much money on wires, i think its better if you do for this product because of the amazing sound it gives out. sometimes i dont understand the price diference between these expensive cables but ui think its the worth the money because of the output it puts out and the sweet sound. like everyone says cable doesnt matter but for these speakers i noticed that better cables are the way to go because you can actually tell the difference. it just needs a nice reciever and an expensive amp and i think you are good to go. that way i could add when ever i had money to spend because if i buy the whole set at one time then it is expensive because i have no money currently, but besides that the system sounds sleek. so then what i did was buy the spaker one at a time. I first bought the set back in 06 and found that the set was too much to carry. ![]()
